Traditions (n.) - waking up at 5:30 am to catch a bus to Disney University and sitting in a room for about 4.5 hours learning the values, business, and culture of The Walt Disney Company and taking a backstage tour of the Magic Kingdom.

I got my Disney ID and nametag.....time to hit the parks! (EPCOT and Magic Kingdom first)

also, I got these two things for having the most animated characters listed in 1 min with the help of 2 other guys and for being a team leader. (Traditions exclusive stuff)

A new adventure....

So my journey started when my mom and I arrived at Orlando and rented a Toyota Prius which was not the easiest car to power up. It kept telling us to put the car in park first and not pressing the brake pedal and whatnot.....anyway.....fast forward 1 hour and we're at Downtown Disney exploring the shops and restaurants and planning out what to buy when I can finally buy stuff at discounted prices.

The next day was a very hectic but productive day. I lined up to check-in at around 7:15am and then got all of my paperwork and documents done. Took the bus to casting where we were given a bunch of papers and information and found out where we are working.

 

 Finally finished checking-in at 11am and then registered for classes, I moved into my apartment: 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1 kitchen, 1 living area and dining area. (pictures will come later)

At around 2:45pm, went to a housing welcome meeting which was freezing cold. Afterwards, met up with Dana and her roommate Kristin to eat at Chik-fil-A and spontaneously decided to take the bus to Disney's Polynesian Resort to watch the Wishes fireworks show and eat Pineapple Dole Whip. We met up with Megan and her family after the fireworks ended and got Megan's family a huge size Dole Whip.
